The National Alliance to Save Native Languages was founded in October of 2006 for the exclusive purpose of promoting the revitalization of Native Languages.  The Alliance is comprised of a coalition of stakeholders including tribes, schools, and individuals, regional and national organizations.  The following organizations recently joined the Alliance:  All Indian Pueblo Council, Montana Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council, Alaska Federation of Natives, Midwest Alliance of Sovereign Tribes and the Association on American Indian Affairs.

The National Alliance is an unincorporated association.  The National Alliance is currently seeking incorporation and 501(c)(3) status immediately thereafter.  This website will be updated to keep you informed about the changing legal status of the National Alliance.
